Interest on your resting assets.

Your money earns while your limit order waits. Iora is a vault on the Stellar network: your USDC earns yield on Blend, Stellar's lending protocol, until your buy order fills. When the coin you want reaches your price, it withdraws and swaps in a single transaction.

Simulated Iora order While the price stays above your limit, your USDC earns yield. When the price falls to your limit, the order fills and the coin goes to your wallet. 0.150

Waiting shouldn't cost you.

On an order book, the money behind a limit order sits idle until the price comes to you. With Iora it earns Blend interest the whole time. See what that means for your order.

How it works

Four steps on Stellar, each one signed by you in your own wallet.

  1. Open your vault

One signature deploys a vault contract that belongs only to you. Your funds are never mixed with other users' in an Iora contract.

  2. Deposit USDC

Your USDC goes straight to Blend and starts earning. Withdraw it with interest whenever you like.

  3. Set your price

Pick the coin and the price you want to pay. The amount set aside for the order keeps earning while it waits.

  4. It fills at your price

When your limit is met, the vault withdraws from Blend, swaps on Soroswap and sends the coin to your wallet in one transaction.

Built for patient buyers

Buy the dip

Set a price below the market and forget about it. If the price never gets there, you still kept the interest.

Buy in steps

Spread a purchase across several prices. Every step that hasn't filled yet keeps earning.

Wallets and DAOs

Offer yield-bearing limit orders to your users or treasury. Users sign in their own wallet; Iora never holds keys.

You stay in control

Trust comes from what the contract allows, not from promises. These rules are enforced on-chain.

Read the security docs
No one can withdraw for you
Withdrawals, orders and cancellations require your wallet signature. There is no admin key and no upgrade function.
Never worse than your limit
The minimum amount you receive is computed on-chain and checked after the swap. If it isn't met, the whole transaction reverts and your funds stay on Blend.
The keeper can only trigger
The bot that fills orders cannot change the recipient, the amount or the limit. What you buy always goes to the vault owner.
Pausing only stops new orders
The emergency switch stops new vaults and orders. Withdrawals and cancellations always work.

Risks you should know

  • All vaults supply to the same Blend pool. If that pool takes bad debt that its backstop cannot cover, every deposit in it loses value.
  • The contracts have not been independently audited yet. Iora runs on testnet only, with test funds.
  • If the pool is short on cash, a withdrawal or fill may have to wait.

Questions

What does Iora mean?

It stands for Interest On Resting Assets. Money that waits behind a limit order is resting; with Iora it earns interest on Blend until the order fills.

Does Iora hold my funds?

No. Your funds are in your own vault contract and, through it, on Blend. Neither Iora nor the keeper can withdraw them.

Where does the interest come from?

Blend borrowers pay interest on what they borrow, and lenders share it. Your vault is a lender. The rate depends on how much of the pool is borrowed.

What if the price never reaches my limit?

Nothing is lost. Your USDC kept earning the whole time, and you can cancel and withdraw whenever you want.

Which coins can I buy?

On testnet today you can buy XLM with USDC. More Stellar assets come next, and later coins on other networks, while your USDC keeps earning on Stellar.

Can I lose money?

Yes. Bad debt in the Blend pool, a contract bug or a phishing site could cause losses. The risks page explains each one.

When is mainnet?

Not before an independent security audit is complete.
